NO SEAT SHOULD BE EMPTY AT THIS SHOW! IT IS A M A Z I N G ! After 38 years of teaching/directing/watching theatre -- in NYC, Chicago, and all around NWI, "RAGTIME" is one of the finest performances I have ever seen! [I do not say that lightly - EVER.] DO NOT miss this show next weekend.
Superb is not adequate to describe the sense of beauty, excitment, and exhileration we experienced at "Beauty and the Beast" on Saturday night. the opening scene in the village was breathtakingly beautiful. The costumes overwhelmed us. The colors and styles of all the beautiful dresses and the backdrop were awesome. Then we went to the castle and I was blown away by the magnificence of the set. I applauded and finally got several other people to clap with me and realize the monumental achievement in set design they were looking at.
All the music, choreography, lighting, the superb singing and especially the technical work were outstanding. The casting was superb and the specialty costumes were magnificent. Once again Ross has set a new standard for community theater in our area. This show was as good as any I've seen in New York and better than many I've seen in Chicago for much more money. Congratulations on creating a wonderful evening of superb theater.

I never saw Ragtime before, so I thought I would check it out. AMAZING, WHAT A SHOW!!!!! I am coming back. Can’t believe only $10.00
We really enjoyed the show--VERY impressed with the production. The set design alone was well worth the price of admission--AMAZING! By far one
of the better of the community theater experiences I've been to. Theater-on-the-Hill's got nothing on you guys! Anyway, thanks for posting
about it on your page--it was definitely worth the hr+ drive"
Also, my daughter saw the stage and asked if there was going to be an
orchestra like when she saw "Wicked" in Chicago. Her mom
said no 'cause it was community theater. Needless to say they were both
shocked when they realized that too was as good as we’ve heard.... Michelle, Chicago
Part of a thank you note given to every cast member from an audience member in 2011…I remember attending the Les Miserables when it came to Chicago and the famous barricade. I also watched two concert versions. These were professionally produced I was thrilled to hear Ross Music Theatre were to present Les Miserables and couldn't wait to see the show. On July 24th I was privileged to sit in Reinhart Auditorium and witness a marvelous presentation of this great and epic musical….infect I was in awe with tears and goose bumps throughout the show. I knew I had to returnto appreciate more fully all the hard work and discipline that went into taking the pages of the script and having it come to life on stage...
The BEST $10.00 I’ve ever spent, would have paid six times that and still been impressed

Hi M & M - I just saw "Scrooge" last night and a few months ago, "Oliver!"...both shows were magical! I even went back the next night to see "Oliver!" again, and would go again today to see "Scrooge" again, if it was possible! The whole cast was just superb!! I'll be back for many shows to come, and am even thinking of... auditioning in the future. Bravo!
Cheers, Joe La Banco
The Reinharts and this exceptionally talented group of high school students are a lethal combo that will have you talking about this show for a long, long time.
I agree totally. It was spectacular. Such a talented cast And yes, the sets, costumres, orchestra and special effects are fabulous. We really enjoyed this show!
I agree a must see...so enjoyed it tonight...
Show was great! Incredible voices and they all played it so seriously! You have such reason to be very proud!
I laughed, I Cried, I believed every performance. For only 10.00 I will be back to see this one again.
What happens when you take a really great bunch of very talented teenagers and put them on stage and then get a great group of adults to donate time, talent, effort, expertise, and equipment. You get PHANTOM at MHS. If you have not seen it don't be put off because says high school production. This is much much more then that. You will not be disappointed.
Saw Phantom last night at Merrillville High School....incredible performances! If you have time, go see its closing show today...check Mike Reinhart's FB!
This show is a MUST SEE! The exceptional orchestra, sets, costumes and directing are only exceeded by the incredible talent on that stage. If you close your eyes you would swear it's the national tourThese kids are OUTSTANDING!! It lef...t me speechless which is something that rarely happens. Congrats to the entire cast, crew and production team. Anyone reading this MUST see this show tomorrow

Oh...my....God!! It was fantastic!
One word can describe RMT's production of Les Miserables playing today (Sunday) and next weekend.... PHENOMENAL! I truly thought nothing could compare to their spring MHS production of "PHANTOM". I was wrong. This show is equally outstanding in EVERY aspect. One rarely sees such tremendous talent from young thespians. The cast, musicians and the entire production team were outstanding. You MUST see this show!"
It was an incredible show!!! We loved the show and were very impressed.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING performance!!! Bravo to all -- I'm going to go see this again next weekend!
What a wonderful afternoon. Can not believe the talent these young people have. Congratulations to all!!!
Great show today. It is great to see the kids from all over Lake and porter county work together and the result is fantastic. Congrats for the 48th time to all who pull things together.
I just got home from seeing this show and words cannot express how wonderful this show was.... As a Merrillville High alumni I can honestly say i knew with some of the talent on that stage it would be amazing. Les Mis is my all time favorite musical and you guys definitely did it justice. :)
It is AWESOME!!! Saw it saturday night. We loved it!!
"I love Les Miz I never miss it when I get a chance to see it. I have seen the national tours, and many of the school versions. This is one of the tope three I've seen, the voices, the lights, the full orchestra. I am brining people back.
