CAST BIOGRAPHIES

ADAM CLOUGH (Apostle/Conspirator/Leper) is a newcomer to the M&M/RMT family. Other credits include Grease!, Fiddler on the Roof and Fame. Adam would like to thank his family for supporting him as well as the cast of JCS. It was great working with you!

 

TINA COBURN (Temptress) is performing her first show with M&M/Ross. Credits include Anything Goes, Playing for Time, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Tina is active in her school's Show Choir and Vocalteens. Tina would like to thank everyone for their support for her playing this role. I love you guys! Break a Leg!

 

CONNIE COLVIN (Temptress/Leper) is a 17 year old home schooled senior and is pleased to be doing her 14th show with Ross/M&M. Favorite roles include Oliver (Oliver!), Fan (Scrooge ), and Cynthia Benson (Big! the Musical). She has also been seen in The Fantastics (Luisa, Footlight Players), Annie Get Your Gun (Dolly Tate, Highland Parks Performing Arts Group), Meet Me In St. Louis (Agnes, Theatre at the Center). Connie would like to thank the Reinharts for casting her and for starting her in her theatre career and all of her other directors for giving her such fantastic opportunities.

 

 

MATTHEW CUNNINGHAM (Apostle) is thrilled to return to M&M/RMT. He joined the M&M/Ross family in 1998 with Cotton Patch Gospel and was seen in multiple other shows thereafter including Carousel, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Big: the musical and The Sound of Music.. Other show credits include: Anything Goes (Moonface), Mr. Renaldi in Funny Girl , and Dr. Sanderson in Harvey. Matt will study broadcast journalism in college and looks forward to performing in future theatrical productions.

 

MANDY ELSER (Soul Girl) - Mandy made her stage debut at the age of 8 months. She has appeared in M & M/Ross shows for the past eight years. Mandy was last seen as Zebulum's wife in M&M's January production of Joseph. Mandy is a member of the Vocalteens and Dramatic Society. Her favorite role was that of Bonnie in Anything Goes. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support.

 

STEPHEN M. ELSER (Herod) has been seen in many M&M/Ross productions including Cotton Patch Gospel (Matthew/Narrator), Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), Brigadoon (Mr. Lundy) and Oliver! (Mr. Brownlow). Some of his other favorite roles are Benjamin Franklin (1776), Sir (The Dresser) and Mark Twain in the one-man show Mark Twain, Tonight!. His professional technical credits include working on the shows Rumors, Evita and Phantom at the Candlelight/Forum Theatres. His costume designs have been seen at the Munster Center for the Performing Arts (Scraps!) and the M & M productions of Superstar and Joseph (Best Costume Design nominee).

 

VICTORIA GABOIAN (Apostle's Woman, Woman by the Fire, Soul Girl) feels fortunate to again be given the opportunity to share the stage with her son Josh and the other talented cast and crew of JCS. Her previous RMT/M&M shows include Carousel (Carrie Pipperidge), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Wife/Chorus), OKLAHOMA! (Ado Annie), Big (Yuppie),Brigadoon (Jane/Chorus), and Oliver (Nancy).  Victoria, a Merrillville resident, is a teacher with the Merrillville Community School Corporation.  Victoria sends many thanks and big hugs to Josh, Mom and Dad, the cast and crew, and the Thanos men:  Mark, John, and Michael.

 

BOB JESSEN (Annas) is a M&M/Ross veteran on stage and off since 1995. Favorite on&endash;stage credits include David Bascombe in Carousel, Professor Marvel/Wizard of Oz (The Wizard of Oz), Fezziwig (Scrooge), Marcellus Washburn (The Music Man), Andrew MacLaren (Brigadoon), Max Detweiler (The Sound of Music), and the Baker in the 2000/2001 productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Bob would like to thank his family,his first love, for giving him the time, support and opportunities to be so involved in musical theatre, his second love.

 

LEANNE C. LAMBETH (Apostle's Woman/Reporter) - Leanne began her musical career with the Ross Summer Youth Theater. Since Oliver in 1994, she has performed in 18 musicals. Leanne's favorite role being Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly. She is a student at Valparaiso and a member of the Varsity Singers and Concert Band.

 

 

CAROL A. MARINO (Apostle's Woman) started with Ross Music Theater in the 1980s in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Some of her favorite on stage credits are Joseph....., Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz and Oliver!. She has worked stage production for countless shows as well. When Carol's not on stage, she is sliding down poles and kicking in doors as a firefighter. She also stays busy as mom to Ashley. She sends special love to John and Ashley!

 

TIFFANY MEYER (Soul Girl)

was last seen as a dancer in RMT/M&M's Carousel this past summer. Other credits include King and I and Oklahoma (Playmakers, Crown Point), and numerous Lowell High School productions. Tiffany is not only active on stage, but off stage as well assisting in set construction and decoration. Tiffany sends her love to her "little man" Bradley.

 

JOHN E. MILCH (Apostle/Guard) returns to M&M/Ross. Last season, John reprised his role as one of the original brothers from the 1995 Joseph...Dreamcoat. Favorite on stage credits include The Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, and Annie. He has also worked production including light and sound design for countless other shows in NW Indiana and Chicago. John sends special love to Carol and Ashley.

 

 

DAVE PIERCY (Caiaphas) is no stranger to N.W. Indiana community theater. Dave Piercy has performed with at least 14 different troupes since leaving the stage of Lake Central High School. Jesus Christ Superstar marks Dave's third production with RSMT/M&M Productions and his second at the Star Theater. Previous RSMT/M&M productions include Jigger in the recently closed production of Carousel, and as a "Brother" in last seasons highly acclaimed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Playing the part of Caiaphas has been a dream of Dave's since seeing JC Superstar for the first time in the mid 70's. When not spending "what can seem like an eternity" in rehearsals, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, puttering around the house, directing his church choir, and pondering "now just where will they host the next SURVIVOR".

 

 

JON ROMANOVICH (High Priest) is a newcomer to M&M/Ross, but not a stranger to the stage. Jon is co-founder of the country music group Ramblin' Hearts and has toured the Midwest, opening for some of the biggest names in country music. In 1996 he recorded their first CD Heartbreaker in Nashville on an independent label. When he's not singing, he's a district sales manager for a top US steel producer. Jon sends his love to his friends and family for their constant support.

 

 

MIKE SANGERMAN (Simon) is enjoying his tenth production with RMT/M&M.  He was most recently seen as the Principal in Carousel.  Mike's other theatre credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pharaoh), The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp), Big, Cotton Patch Gospel, Oklahoma!, Brigadoon, and The Music Man.  Mike is an employee at U.S. Steel in Gary. He's also a soccer, baseball, and basketball coach for his children's teams.  On the side, Mike has his own DJ business, and is an excellent Elvis impersonator.  Mike's best job is husband to wife Pegg, and father to Samantha and Max.

 

PEGG SANGERMAN (Apostle's Woman) is no stranger to the stage.  She has studied and performed in college and community theatre for several years and has performed several interesting parts.  Some of Pegg's RMT/M&M plays include Carousel (Mrs. Mullins),Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Mrs. Potiphar), Oklahoma! (Aunt Eller), Big, and The Music Man.  When not performing with RMT/M&M, Pegg is a professional storyteller.  Pegg is excited to share her love of performing with her husband, Mike and children Samantha and Max. 

 

TINA SHULTZ (Reporter, Woman by the Fire) began performing in Ross Summer Youth Theatre when she was 8. Her previous RMT/M&M shows include Carousel (Cousin Nettie), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Rachel), Oklahoma! (chorus), and The Sound of Music (Sister Margaretta).  Tina is a second grade teacher in Gary.  She studied music under the renowned soprano Camilla Williams at Indiana University, and Anna Padberg of Merrillville. A special hug and thank you to Dante for his love and support.

 

RON SUTTON (Peter) was last seen as Enoch Snow in RMT/M&M's Carousel. Other credits include Jacey Squires (The Music Man, RMT), Ali Hakim (Oklahoma, Little Town Theatre), and Linus (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Graceland College). Ron earned a B.A. in Music Education from Graceland College and taught music and band in the Hammond School system for ten years. He now runs his own karaoke and DJ company called Rising Star Entertainment. Ron would like to thank his family for all their love and support throughout the years. His mother and late father still inspire him and he thanks them whole heartedly for building his character and perseverance.

 

CINDY SWISHER (Apostle's Woman) was last seen as the Heavenly Messenger in Carousel. She was also the Ghost of Christmas Past (Scrooge), and the Messenger (Cotton Patch Gospel).  Other roles include the Wicked Witch of the West (The Wizard of OZ), Aunt Eller (Oklahoma!), Mrs. Hicks (The Music Man), and Frau Schmidt (The Sound of Music).  She has also been a member of the chorus in nearly every RMT production since Fiddler on the Roof in 1995.  A retired V.P. for a local regional bank, she lives in Merrillville with her husband Tim.

 

BARBIE TRUETT (Apostle's Woman/Reporter/Dance Captain) began participating with Ross Music Theater and M&M Productions in 1995 with the original cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has performed in each of their subsequent productions of Joseph. She has participated in a number of other Reinhart productions including Oklahoma (Laurey), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Fiddler on the Roof (Chava), The Music Man (Zaneeta), Scrooge the Musical (Isabelle), Jesus Christ Superstar (Chorus/Dancer), and Cotton Patch Gospel (Chorus/Dancer). She also performed in Oberlin College's production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore (Dame Hannah). Other credits include West Side Story (Maria) and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey).

 

LEANNE C. LAMBETH (Wife) - Leanne began her musical career with the Ross Summer Youth Theater. Since then, starting with "Oliver," she has performed in 16 musicals, her favorite role being Ermengarde in "Hello, Dolly." She is a junior at Valparaiso High School where she is in the Varsity Singers show choir, Concert Choir, Band (flute and piccolo) and Creative Musical Theater. Leanne's future plans include a long run on "Saturday Night Live."

 

TIM SWISHER (Issachar) - Tim's involvement in community theatre began in 1995 with the chorus for the production of Fiddler on the Roof. Since that time Tim has appeared as an apostle in Jesus Christ Super Star, a Wingee in The Wizard of OZ, as Her

Zeller in the Sound of Music, As one of the portly gentlemen in Scrooge, Sheriff Cord Elam in Oklahoma, the Senator in Cotton Patch Gospel and as one of the salesman in The Music Man. Tim also enjoys building and designing production sets along side Jerauld

Reinhart Tim and his wife (Cindy), also in this production of Joseph as a chorus member, live in Merrillville. Tim is employed locally as a Vice President with Fifth Third Bank's Private Banking and Investment Division

 

TINA SHULTZ (Maid by Fire/Reporter) - This is Tina's second time as Rachel in M&M's

Joseph, and Tina's fourth performance with Ross Music Theatre. Tina started performing with Ross Summer Youth Theatre when she was 8, and has been performing ever since. She took voice lessons for 10 years, and minored in vocal performance at Indiana University. Tina is currently a second grade teacher, but aspires to someday perform with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Tina wishes to thank her family for their guidance, and Dave for his love & support.

 

DEBORAH A. ELSER (Herod's Woman) is a veteran of Ross shows since 1975. Some of her favorite roles are Mrs. Bedwin in Oliver! and Ela Delahey in Charlie's Aunt (during which she began dating her husband). She enjoys being able to once again perform with her whole family, husband Stephen (Jacob/Potiphar), and daughters Mandy (Zebulun's Wife) and Ashley (Childrens Chorus)

 

 

Meladi Ward ( Wife) has been dancing with the Ross Music Theatre for two years, with The Sound of Music, Joseph, and Oklahoma. She has also done The Wizard of Oz, Dracula, The Mouse That Roared, Dracula, Stuart Little, and The Crucible. One of her favorite roles was portraying the tap dancing empress in Androcleas and the Lion. When Meladi is not performing she enjoys teaching preschool and spending time with her daughter Maleri. Meladi would like to thank all of the people that watched Maleri while she was rehearsing for Joseph.

 

Annie Labuda (temptress) Annie has been performing with M& M Productions since 1996, with her first role as a jitterbug in ìThe Wizard of Oz.î She has also performed the role of Dream Lori in ìOaklahomaî, and a brotherís wife in the ë2000 and current production of ìJoseph and the Amazing Techinicolor Dreamcoat.î She obtained a degree in Communications and dance minor from Purdue University, meanwhile peforming with the Purdue Reperatory Dance Company. In the future, she would like to keep performing within musical theatre, and pursue dance further.

 

Barbie Truett (Wife/Reporter/Dancer/ Dance Captain)-Barbie began participating with Ross Music Theater and M&M Productions in 1995 with the original cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has performed in every subsequent production of Joseph.
